To start off this journey, you need a little background. Life didn’t make much sense when I was a kid. There was lots of abuse and not so much fun. This all led to a place called Mercy Ministries and that is where this journey begins. Mercy is a residential treatment facility. I was introduced to the idea of Mercy in December of 2012, and I was accepted into the program in May of 2013. My entrance date was June 3, 2013. The first thought I had was when am I going to leave this hellish place. Six months had past and I received the month of which was going to be my graduation. The novel in fact portrays the psychological self-journey of a man. His mind is like the antiquity of the town. The Magistrate’s pastime is to excavate the skeletons of ancient houses and remains. He tries to comprehend the characters on wooden slips he found. Throughout the book, the pre-symbolic figures are always a mystery for him the same way his unconscious state of mind is a mystery. This vagueness styles the book to expose to all kind of imaginings and creates an accessibility to all civilizations.
